Here, a customer brought in this beautifully colored pink Gary Fisher mountain bike to have some minor work done on it.
What I especially enjoy about the older bikes folks own here in the southwest is that due to our low-humidity climate, it seems like metal will almost stay in it’s original shape, even after so many years have passed. Depending on how one takes care of such a bicycle, it may not accumulate much rust, but perhaps some discoloration.

Little do folks know is that pink is one of my favorite colors for a bicycle as I’m still dreaming of a Casati Track bike I saw many years ago when I lived in Boston. Definitely a bike I should have bought when I had the chance.
