Cargobikes & Coffee...🍪☕️🚲📦

Well, actually it should be “Cargobikes & Cookies”, but who’s complaining. 🤷🏾😃

This Saturday, July 6th, 2024 from 9am-11am Sirius Cycles is inviting anyone who has a cargobike to join us at the parking lot adjacent to the Kakawa Chocolate House and Montezuma Park on Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, NM for some *chocolate treats and talk cargobikes, bikes in general, or anything else you would to chat about.

This gathering is not only for folks who have a cargobike, but any bike will do, especially if you use your bike instead of your car for those daily errands, school drop-offs, grocery runs or anything else that comes to mind. We are just encouraging folks to just GO BY BIKE!

*Chocolate goodies will be provided by Sirius Cycles until supplies last. Any coffee or drinks will have to be purchased at Kakawa Chocolate House at your own expense.

“Ultima Vuelta de Santa Fe” Randonnée… (150km/93.2mi.)🌶️ @ Santa Fe Plaza
May 18 @ 7:00 am

This is a fully self-supported ride for your personal enjoyment and is TAKEN AT YOUR RISK!

A concept of a route from the mind of Nat Shipman, professional touring guide for much of Northern New Mexico.
The idea for this ride is a century (depending from where you started…) around much of Santa Fe, without being too distant from the city, while traversing roads that do you do not cross twice. Study the route so as to make sure resupply stops are within reach.

Riders should be arriving at the Santa Fe Plaza around 6:45am. Departure time from the Santa Fe Plaza will be on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 at 7am. Several *resupply stops will be available along the route.

A front and rear light is recommended as we will be on some backroads. *We will be passing several stops for food/water, but it would be advised to bring your burritos, meal replacements, electrolytes, etc. to compensate for some areas. While the rando will mostly be a no-drop ride, please be aware that riders who are attempting to complete the full route will have to maintain a certain pace to get home at a respectable time. Riders may be satisfied with cutting the ride short…

Of course, please be aware that this is a fully self-supported ride for your personal enjoyment and is taken at your own risk! If you feel that you may be limited in your abilities to complete the ride, have someone ready to pick you up along the route. Sirius Cycles will assume no responsibility for any mishaps or accidents during this ride. Riders may reconsider participating if there is heavy weather/very strong winds present on the day.
