Just a different route to get to Albuquerque, NM…

A ~160km mix of dirt and pavement excursion from the Zia Road Rail Runner Station in Santa Fe to the city of Albuquerque, NM, then catching the Downtown Albuquerque NM Rail Runner train back North to Santa Fe.

Rider should be arriving at the Zia Road Rail Runner Train Station around 7:30am. Departure time from the Zia Road Rail Runner Station will be on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at around 7:45-8am as we will have roughly 10hrs. to complete the ride. (Departure time may begin a little earlier if riders feel that may better.) Several *resupply stops will be available along the route.

Tubes and pumps (etc…), as well as front and rear lights  are recommended as we will be riding into the evening as the night sky will be upon us once we arrive back in Santa Fe. *We will be passing several stops for food/water, but it would be advised to bring your money, burritos, meal replacements, electrolytes, etc. to compensate for some areas.

Of course, please be aware that this is a fully self-supported ride for your personal enjoyment and is taken at your own risk! If you feel that you may be limited in your abilities to complete the ride, make sure to have someone ready to pick you up along the route as this ride is dependent that we back to Santa Fe in due time.

Sirius Cycles WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY for any mishaps or accidents during this ride. Riders may reconsider participating if there is heavy weather/very strong winds present on the day.
