I have attempted and managed to stay in touch with the racing in the continent of Africa for many years now, catching the many different races in various countries.

One of them is La Tropicale Amissa Bongo (15th edition) which has been elevated to the status of UCI Africa Tour 2.1 for many years, enjoying the participation of different riders, including Pierre Roland, Thomas Voeckler & André Greipel, just to name a few. The race is also a launchpad for many African riders in search of a professional contract, contributing to some of the world’s largest races, including the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España.

Enjoy this *documentary on La Tropicale Amissa Bongo 2020. This is longest one I have had the opportunity to catch as they tend to be much shorter with reduced coverage. (*Documentary is in the French language)
