From Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung’s webpage:
“Last month, Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung became the first ever African team to line up in a WorldTour race when it took part in Tirreno-Adriatico in Italy. The event marked a successful debut for Africa’s first Professional Continental team when Gerald Ciolek finished on the podium of stage 2. Days after the event, the team started its second WorldTour race, Milan Sanremo. The Italian one day classic is the longest in world cycling and is one of five Monuments in cycling tradition. It was a dream campaign for Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung when Ciolek went on to win the prestigious event, after a day filled with rain and snow.”
