Originally a collaboration with Crust Bikes, the MKS Sylvan Pedal now also has a big brother, the Gordito. My first pair of the original Sylvan Pedals was perhaps 10 years ago when I was still riding fixed-gear.
The time has long-passed when I gave up riding fixed and solely rode my geared commuter bike year-round. Safe to say I was very pleased when MKS announced these larger platformed pedals as there were times when I felt the original Sylvan were a bit too small for my size 48EU (13US) shoes. In combination with the Gorditos, I still include some of MKS’s XL Toe Clips, sans the straps, for everyday riding; also just in case I have to come to an abrupt stop.
While we are currently out of stock, we normally would some in the shop. As of this writing, they are priced at $75.99…
